SOTA OE/SB-235 Kienalkopf

WX today was extremely hot but we decided to walk a “little” summit called Kienalkopf, where I tested my improved gear (KX3 and Buddipole Dipole)…Unfortunately the former used APRS-spotting didn`t work today but after a few minutes calling CQ the stations dropped into my log.
In total 12 QSOs were made, one SOTA to SOTA, thanks to DM1LE/P who was on SOTA summit SL/KW-021. Maximum distance was with EA7PY – abt. 1.900 km.

The Elecraft KX3 seems to work very good, I just have to optimize my headset configuration as there were a few dropouts.
