Just 4 points today but a quite “cool” activation… I wanted to activate my SOTA gear once more before snow makes it hard to reach all our summits for a while. 

As of yesterday when Franz did another 3-summit-tour he has gained more than 1.000 activator points in the SOTA-program. Congratulations to the new “mountain goat status”!

As Franz has activated 4 summits with 10 points each last weekend we decided to do so again and activated 4 summits together today in the border area of Salzburg and Tirol.

Today it finally became a very hot day but early in the morning and above 2.200 meters ASL it was quite cold. Abt. 10 degrees centigrade -at the beginning without sun and quite strong winds- not really comfortable.

Our first triple-summit activation without snowshoes or by ski this season was very successful. This tour included two 8-point-summits and one 6-point-summit on the way down. It`s a very nice area around Wildseeloder OE/TI-416, Henne TI-641 and Lärchfilzkogel TI-662.
